Your puppy should enjoy it's on-leash walks with you, but also be safe and controlled. We teach your puppy to walk with you on leash properly, without negative correction.

Whether you plan on starting your puppy in competitive obedience, dog sport or just enjoy a fine tuned dog to show off, we teach your puppy the benefits or focusing on it's handler and lay the foundation work for it's future. The key is handler focus!

The crate is a safe and effective tool to house-break your puppy as well as give it a safe & relaxing place to retreat to. It is never a punishment! We will teach your puppy to run into the crate with excitement, on command and be perfectly content in the crate.

This ties into teaching the puppy focus. We will continue to work with your puppy to teach it to look up at you only while heeling along side of you, with excitement, energy and joy! This requires very specific training and lays the foundation for competitive obedience.

The recall is one of the most important & celebrated obedience command.  Not only could it save your dog's life in an emergency situation, but your dog should want to run to you as quickly as possible and end with a finish position whenever the command is given. While you will need to continue this training, we lay down the foundation work for you!

Have you ever just shaken your head when you see someone command their dog to sit and the dog looks around and waits 5,10, 20 seconds to sit, very slowly? This is because it wasn't given a reason to do it immediately and with joy. We will start your puppy with the mind set that it needs to finish this task! 

No, your puppy won't be biting a sleeve like it's mom or dad does, but we will build up it's drive with rag work (agitation). Explosive energy and drive are key factors that must be taught very early for the best possible outcome!

We will expose your puppy to lots of new sights, sounds, objects and environments while keeping a close eye on it's reaction to foster confidence and avoid behavioral fears and issues.

Like the sit, the down command should be quick and immediate while maintaining eye contact with the handler.
